Helping Children Build Friendships, Confidence, and Emotional Resilience

Does your child have a hard time making or keeping friends? Are you noticing signs of social anxiety, low self-esteem, or emotional frustration in peer settings?

The Friendship Lab is a unique therapeutic summer camp for children aged 8 to 12, designed to help kids develop the tools they need to build meaningful friendships and improve their social-emotional wellbeing. Led by licensed mental health professionals, this interactive and engaging camp takes place right here in Beaumont, Alberta, and is open to children from surrounding areas including Leduc, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park.

Camp Details at a Glance

Location: Beaumont Community Church
Dates: August 11–15, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
Cost: $153.30/day per participant (billed daily)

Eligible under most health benefit plans as a therapeutic mental health service

Children can attend for one day or all five—each day builds on the last, but drop-in attendance is welcome as space allows.

Children will engage in real-time social skills practice, role-playing games, and collaborative group activities in a safe, supportive environment with professional guidance.
