About Lyvia
Lyvia Hughes is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who specializes in working with couples and relationships, including those in ENM relationship dynamics. She has been trained in Level 2 of Gottman Method of Couples Counseling and obtained her Sex Therapy certificate from the University of Guelph in 2022. She utilizes a person-centered approach, and incorporates mindfulness, CBT, and DBT into her work.
Lyvia also works with individuals with a myriad of sexual health concerns, such as sexual dysfunction, intimacy, and sexual identity.
Lyvia believes in a collaborative approach to therapy, where she endeavours to create an emotionally safe atmosphere, where the client feels secure enough to open up and explore their inner world.
