Job Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Beaumont, AB (In-Clinic Required)
Join Our Growing Team at Level Up Wellness Group
Are you a passionate, self-driven therapist who loves working with kids and teens? Level Up Wellness Group is growing—and we’re looking for an exceptional Child & Youth Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and help us redefine what integrative care looks like.
This position offers a rare opportunity to build your own practice, shape your role alongside a collaborative team, and be part of a trailblazing clinic focused on holistic, whole-person care. You will join a team of professionals across mental health, occupational therapy, and medicine.
We are also currently laying the groundwork for a brand-new biophilic, purpose-built medical space designed to nourish both practitioners and clients through healing architecture. For the right candidate, the growth opportunities are exceptional!
About Us
At Level Up Wellness Group, we provide comprehensive, wrap-around emotional and physical health services for all age groups. Our team includes psychologists, occupational therapists, Canadian certified counsellors, specialized social workers, Nurse Practitioners, and we are adding more diverse professionals as we grow. We break down the silos of traditional healthcare; our providers actively consult and collaborate across disciplines to solve complex puzzles together.
We believe wellness should feel human. We have a casual dress code, a warm clinic atmosphere (cozy vibes, not cold walls), and a culture that values care, fun, and inclusion.
The Opportunity & Your Role
We have a need for a clinician to work directly with children, youth, and their families (ages 4-18+). You’ll be providing support (within your scope of practice), and evidence-informed therapy.
This practice is structured for rapid growth, and we support this role transitioning to a full-time caseload based on your goals.
We are looking for someone with a passion for or experience in the following areas:
- ADHD: Executive functioning, emotional regulation, and parent coaching.
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): Experience with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is highly valued!
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Neurodiversity-affirming care, social navigation, and family support.
What We Offer
- Autonomy with Support: You run your practice, but you’re never alone. You set your availability based on clinic availability, and we aim to fill it with clients you are trained and able to actually support.
- Top-Tier Admin Support: You are operationally supported. Our Client Relations Specialist (CRS) team handles scheduling, billing, and general communications, so you can focus on being a therapist.
- Collaborative Environment: Monthly case-consultations and business development meetings to help you grow.
- Modern Space: Access to our new, beautifully designed clinic in Beaumont.
Qualifications
- Must be currently registered and in good standing as a Registered Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist, or Clinically Registered Social Worker.
- At least 1 year of experience working directly with children and youth (ages 4 to 18).
- A clean Criminal Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) and Child Welfare Check (must be current to within 3 months of application).
- Strong philosophical alignment with neurodiversity-affirming, functional, and whole-person care.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and supportive personality with a drive to go above and beyond for clients.
- Creative self-starter eager to contribute to a holistic approach to healthcare.
- Understanding the nature of an Independent Contractor relationship.
- Practice Insurance is required and proof of requirements may be requested.
Ready to take your practice to the next level? We’re not just offering a contract—we’re offering a place to build your vision. Apply today and help us shape the future of integrated care.
