Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Beaumont, AB (In-Person/Virtual Hybrid available depending on licensure)
The Vibe:
Your role is to help our adult clients translate clinical “aha” moments into actual, manageable daily victories. You are the bridge between a client knowing how their brain works and actually figuring out how to live with it. We are looking for an OT who thrives in a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed setting and gets excited about helping adults navigate executive dysfunction, sensory overload, and the very real weight of autistic/ADHD burnout. We don’t do “one size fits all” here; we build practical, individualized toolkits for real life.
The Space & Team:
Practice in our expanding 3,700 sq. ft. facility at Beau Village (Grand Re-Opening Late 2026). You won’t be working in a silo. You will collaborate directly with our multidisciplinary team—including diagnostic psychologists, trauma therapists, and our medical/Nurse Practitioner team—to support clients on complex pathways. Whether it’s collaborating on an adult ADHD care plan, supporting someone with chronic pain, or helping a newly diagnosed autistic adult advocate for workplace accommodations, you are a critical piece of the puzzle.
What You’ll Do & What We’re Looking For:
- A fully registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with ACOT, with a passion for adult care.
- Specialization in sensory assessments.
- Primary focus on executive function coaching, adult sensory integration, and functional life skills for neurodivergent adults (ADHD, ASD).
- Conducting comprehensive, flat-fee OT Sensory Assessments and providing actionable, real-world recommendations.
- You are a collaborative practitioner, excited to consult with psychologists, social workers, and NPs to provide true wrap-around care.
- Comfortable working with complex mental health presentations, including trauma and chronic stress.
The Perks:
- True Integrated Care: Join a 15+ person multidisciplinary team where cross-referrals, shared EMR, and collaborative case consultations are the standard.
- You Do The Clinical, We Do The Rest: Our incredible Client Relations (CRS) team handles the intakes, billing, and front-desk chaos so you can actually just focus on your clients.
- Flexible Scheduling & Support: You have the ability to build a schedule that actually works for your life.
- Broad Reach: Depending on your specific provincial licensure, you can leverage our virtual care model to help adults across multiple provinces.
