About Mariclaire
Hello, my name is Mariclaire, and I am a Master of Counselling student at City University of Seattle. I am incredibly grateful to be completing my practicum at Level Up Wellness Group and would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
Before transitioning into counselling, I spent over fourteen years as Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It has been a privilege to support premature babies and their families through some of life’s most vulnerable, uncertain, and meaningful moments. Throughout my nursing career, I became deeply inspired by human resilience and realized my passion for the emotional and relational aspects of care, which naturally led me into counselling.
I would describe my approach as gentle, collaborative, and grounded in empathy and authenticity. I feel passionate about whole-person, integrated care, and strive to create a warm, affirming, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and heard. While I have special interests in supporting perinatal mental health and neurodivergent individuals, I truly enjoy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Outside of work and school, I am a mother of two, and deeply value time spent with my family. I love to create art, spend time outside, and hike in the mountains.
