About Melissa

Hi, I’m Melissa, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) here at Level Up Wellness Group. I value authenticity, collaboration, and the uniqueness of your story. My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll reconnect with your values, build meaningful self-compassion, strengthen emotional regulation, and create space for you to feel more empowered and connected to yourself.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by many years of supporting others. For over 10 years, I worked as an EA supporting autistic teens, an experience that deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, the importance of meeting people where they are, and the many ways people communicate, connect, and experience the world. I’ve also facilitated grief support groups, where I’ve had the privilege of sitting alongside people during some of life’s most difficult and tender moments. During my internship with Alli Therapy, I further developed my clinical experience and my passion for building therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, compassion, and genuine connection.

I especially enjoy supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, people navigating grief and loss, and those experiencing anxiety, OCD, self-esteem concerns, or shame. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen their connection, improve communication, and better understand the patterns within their relationship. Sometimes therapy is about finding clarity; sometimes it’s about making sense of what you’ve been through; and sometimes it’s simply about having a safe place to exhale and be fully yourself.

Outside of therapy, I’m happiest when I’m spending time outdoors. I enjoy gardening, kayaking, and finding little ways to slow down and reconnect with the things that bring me joy. I believe there is something valuable in making space for both the difficult and lighter moments in life, and I try to bring that same openness and curiosity into my work with clients.

I offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can feel accepted, understood, and supported as you bring your authentic self to therapy. My hope is that our work together feels collaborative, practical, and meaningful, with space for both growth and the occasional laugh along the way. Therapy is accessible and offered both in person and virtually, with morning, afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments available. If you’re looking for support, clarity, or simply a place to begin, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
