Job Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Beaumont, AB (In-Clinic Required)
Join Our Growing Team at Level Up Wellness Group
Are you a passionate, self-driven Nurse Practitioner ready to make a meaningful impact? Level Up Wellness Group is growing—and we’re looking for an exceptional, in-person NP to join our multidisciplinary team and help us redefine what integrative care looks like.
This position offers a rare opportunity to build your own practice, shape your role alongside a collaborative team, and be part of a trailblazing clinic focused on holistic, whole-person care. You will be the crucial missing puzzle piece that allows us to launch our Physical Medical Pathway, while also supporting our thriving Mental Health, ADHD, and Hormone Health lanes. You will join a team of professionals across mental health, and remote Nurse Practitioners supporting most of Canada virtually.
We are also currently laying the groundwork for a brand-new biophilic, purpose-built medical space designed to nourish both practitioners and clients through healing architecture. For the right candidate, the growth opportunities are exceptional!
About Us
At Level Up Wellness Group, we provide comprehensive, wrap-around emotional and physical health services for all age groups. Our team includes psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, Canadian certified counsellors, and specialized social workers. We break down the silos of traditional healthcare; our providers actively consult and collaborate across disciplines to solve complex puzzles together.
We believe wellness should feel human. We have a t-shirt-and-jeans casual dress code, a warm clinic atmosphere (cozy vibes, not cold walls), and a culture that values care, fun, and inclusion.
Your Role & Autonomy
As an Independent Contractor with Level Up, you operate with full clinical autonomy. You will be the legal “Custodian” of your health records under the Health Information Act (HIA), while our Corporation acts as your Information Manager.
What you will do:
- Assess, Diagnose, and Treat: Manage primary medical and psychiatric needs, conduct thorough in-person physical assessments, and prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Focused Care: Diagnose and manage complex physical and mental health concerns.
- Collaborate: Work with our internal psychologists, OTs, social workers, and upcoming professionals as well as community family physicians and specialists.
- Advanced Care: Utilize a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach to perform comprehensive medical histories, risk assessments, and safety planning.
- Order & Interpret: Order public and private laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, and interpret/explain the results to patients.
What We Offer (The “Level Up” Difference)
- Autonomy: Create your ideal schedule and caseload. You set your availability, within the availability of the clinic resources.
- Top-Tier Admin Support: You are clinician-led, but operationally supported. Our dedicated Client Relations Specialist (CRS) team handles scheduling, billing, payments, and communications so you can actually focus on patient care.
- Marketing Support: If you provide the clinical expertise, you can work with our marketing team to support you with ad campaigns and community outreach to build your caseload.
- Collaborative Environment: Regular peer consultation, cross-disciplinary strategy, and a supportive social committee build a connected network of professionals under one roof.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current, active registration with CRNA as a Nurse Practitioner (Family/All Ages).
- Clinical experience and confidence in primary care, physical assessments, mental health, and addictions.
- Ability to critically assess health research and introduce evidence-based practices.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and supportive personality with a drive to go above and beyond for clients.
- Creative self-starter eager to contribute to a holistic approach to healthcare.
