About Angela
Angela Thable, MN, NP, is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience providing comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan. She holds a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner Stream) and a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Manitoba, graduating with honors and receiving the Manitoba Continuing Education Scholarship.
Angela is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (all ages) in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories/Nunavut, and she is bilingual in English and French. Her clinical background spans emergency care, primary care clinics, ambulatory infusion services, and advanced practice roles in both in-person and virtual settings. She currently provides virtual care through leading Canadian telehealth organizations, where she conducts assessments, provides counselling, orders investigations, prescribes treatments, and coordinates referrals and follow-up care, including mental health assessment and ongoing support.
Angela has a special interest in supporting families navigating complex concerns related to PANS and PANDAS, conditions that are often misunderstood or misdiagnosed. She is committed to thorough, investigative evaluations aimed at identifying potential root causes contributing to a child’s symptoms. Rather than viewing these presentations solely through a mental health lens, she takes a comprehensive approach to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that prioritize meaningful symptom improvement and, when possible, remission.
A dedicated advocate and educator, Angela also served as an Instructor in the University of Manitoba’s Nurse Practitioner Graduate Program, supporting the development of future NP clinicians through blended online and in-person teaching. She works collaboratively with patients and families to ensure care is thoughtful, evidence-informed, and tailored to each child and family’s unique needs.
