About Courtney
Courtney Culham is a Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of health care experience. After working as a Registered Nurse for several years, she pursued a Masters Degree in Nursing and Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Diploma at the University of Calgary. Since 2011, she has worked in various settings including primary care in downtown Calgary. She sub-specializes in mental health and addiction medicine and has special interest in working with complex patients with both mental and physical health challenges.
Previously, she has worked in acute pain, private medical and pharmaceutical sales, medical aesthetics, women’s health as well as with diverse populations including professional athletes, the vulnerable, and those living in remote rural communities including the Northwest Territories.
Courtney also has a designation of a Registered Counselling Therapist through The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta which allows her to provide counselling services. She is grateful for the opportunities she has been given to be trained and mentored by some of the most respected mental health clinicians in Calgary.
When she is not working you will find her enjoying mother nature in all her glory with her family and friends.
