Hi there! I am so grateful to be working in the mental health field because it is such an important part of our health, wellbeing, and the way we show up in our life.

My own experiences have taught me that mental health isn’t always an easy thing to talk about, even though we all experience challenges at some point. Struggles happen and can come in many forms, and so can a way forward. I believe that each person knows what positive change looks like for them, has the ability to get there, and could sometimes use a little help along the way. Whether it’s about overcoming a hurdle, making a decision, honing your strengths, learning a new skill, sharpening your toolkit, discovering a pattern, saying the unsaid, getting clear on your values and goals, working towards whatever is most important for you, or simply feeling seen, heard, and safe – I’m here to help you get started.

Before graduating from City University of Seattle with a Master of Counselling, I spent over 13 years working in B2B technology sales. Throughout that time, I learned that personal growth and professional development are often parallel and complimentary processes, and I developed a passion for bringing a mental health focus into the workplace. As a result, an important area of my work is focused on helping organizations cultivate healthy and effective workplace environments. This often entails supporting individuals, teams, and leaders in learning to set goals and boundaries, navigate change and challenges, build resilience, and experience fulfillment through processes that are collaborative, restorative, and sustainable.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered, attachment, and systems-based philosophies. I am trained in therapy modalities Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman Couples Therapy (Level 1 & 2). I also use interventions and strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy in my practice with clients.
